Alfons Hörmann is taking over as the new CEO of Schöck AG and handing over his chairmanship of the Supervisory Board to Nikolaus Wild.

As CEO, Alfons Hörmann will be taking overall responsibility for the international Schöck Group, together with his fellow board members, Dr. Harald Braasch (Technology) and Thomas Stürzl (Business Administration). The new management team will continue to develop the company’s strategy, with core competences in the thermal insulation of load-bearing elements in buildings and impact sound insulation. As CEO, Alfons Hörmann will be concentrating on the strategic direction of the entire Group and national and international sales and marketing for Schöck. In return, he has handed over his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board to the previous CEO, Nikolaus Wild (64). And so, after many years spent in positions of responsibility, the two experienced managers in the construction industry will continue to be active in new roles at the top of the company.
