The calculation program allows an easy and quick design of the Schöck dowel system SLD plus. The dowel system is required for the transfer of shear forces across joints into reinforced concrete members. The design program defines the required type of dowel and distributes it efficiently over the length of the considered joint (or a section of the joint). The desired type of dowel can be preselected.
Dowels of type Q, which permit movement along two axes, are also considered in the program. The design program determines the required additional reinforcement and represents it graphically. If additional reinforcement is specified, the design program can perform the corresponding analysis. Loads can be entered as uniformly distributed loads, as rectangular loads or as point loads. The design criteria are the BS 8110 and the German approval.
