Schöck Bole® Punching Shear reinforcement: Combating punching shear

Point formed, reinforced flat slabs offer industry and commercial construction many advantages when a free floor area is required. Non-load bearing partition walls are possible, lower noise and reinforcement expenditure, room to work freely right up to the ceiling and full use of storey height. For this type of construction, the Schöck Bole® anti-punching shear system is perfect. The normal critical risk of punching failure can be solved in a cost-effective and sure way. The punching failure Bole® system comprises double headed studs whose correct positioning is assured by incorporated spacers. Spacers ensure that the lower reinforcement is not disturbed during the upper reinforcement installation - resulting in easier and faster installation on site. Along with the Bole® standard reinforcement product, special options are available for precasters. Bole®-U for installation before the lower mat, Bole®-O for installation after the upper reinforcement and Bole®-F which sits on the mat stands. All Bole® types are delivered ready to install and ensure a safe solution to punching failure for flat slabs.
