Schöck Isokorb® type KXT

Schöck Isokorb® type KXT with compression module HTE-Compact®: Thermal break element for free cantilevered balconies

Our answer to increasingly stringent EU guidelines:

Since its first Isokorb® product was introduced to the market, Schöck has increasingly dominated the design and development of safe, state-of-the-art high performance thermal break solutions across international markets. Today, with increasingly stringent EU guidelines, whereby from 2021 all new buildings have to be designed according low energy building standards; plus challenging building regulation requirements; the demands for improved thermal insulation have never been greater. To help push the boundaries in meeting those demands, Schöck has developed the latest generation Isokorb® type KXT, for concrete-to-concrete applications.

Schöck Isokorb® XT products are certified by the Passive House Institute. Even free cantilevered balconies can be built without thermal bridges.

The Schöck Isokorb® type KXT with compression module HTE-Compact® and 120 mm insulation thickness is a load bearing thermal break element for free cantilevered balconies. It transfers negative moments and positive shear forces.

The Schöck Isokorb® type KXT of shear force variant VV transmits negative moments, positive and negative shear forces.
